Villa Horizon Line
Villa Horizon Line is conceived as a refined modern dwelling that frames light, landscape, and daily rituals in a serene architectural gesture. The design integrates natural materials with precision-built components from the Gablok system to achieve a warm yet highly efficient family home.
Villa Horizon Line is sculpted as a sequence of horizontal volumes that float subtly above the ground plane, defining a calm relationship between built form and open space. Large-format wooden cladding panels, paired with crisp steel lines, emphasize the purity of the villa’s proportions, while full-height glazing dissolves boundaries between interior and garden.
Inside, spaces unfold with a soft gradient—from the intimate private rooms on the upper level to a completely transparent living plaza on the ground floor—inviting light to choreograph the atmosphere throughout the day. The architecture celebrates clarity, simplicity, and spatial rhythm.

The project leverages insulated modular elements from the Gablok system to achieve exceptional thermal performance and significantly reduced construction waste. Natural ventilation strategies, triple-glazed openings, and an optimized building orientation collectively minimize energy demand.
Additional measures such as green roof areas, recycled timber finishes, and solar-ready infrastructure reflect a commitment to long-term sustainability. The main challenge was creating a visually lightweight structure while maintaining strong insulation performance, which was resolved through integrated detailing and material efficiency.
