Over the past two days, representatives of Gablok, including our managing director at Gablok, Michael Wassermann, participated in the Sustainable Construction Delegation trip to Germany. The delegation was organised by the Consulate General of the Netherlands with the support of BMR.

The programme led the Dutch delegation through the Ruhr area, with visits in Essen and Dortmund. Key stops included Mueller Fenster und Fassaden and the Wilo Group, two organisations recognised for their strong commitment to circular thinking and innovation within the built environment.

The delegation brought together Dutch and German expertise and provided a valuable platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the exploration of cross-border collaboration. These interactions highlighted shared ambitions and practical approaches toward advancing sustainability in the construction sector.

At Gablok, initiatives such as this delegation are valued as they underline the importance of international cooperation in addressing challenges within the built environment and in accelerating the transition toward more sustainable construction practices.

We thank all parties involved for the professional organisation and the insightful discussions that made this exchange both productive and inspiring.
