In our latest research from the Research and Development department at Gablok, we examine the impact of sustainable construction methods on cost efficiency and project timelines. The findings challenge the prevailing assumption that sustainable building solutions are inherently more expensive or slower to deliver.
The research shows that, particularly in low and mid rise residential developments, sustainable and prefabricated construction approaches can achieve competitive costs and efficient delivery when compared to conventional methods. Overall performance is influenced less by material choices and more by factors such as design strategies, planning processes, and development timelines.
